The Musical Virgin, Unplugged & Lolita

The Globe & Mail

AD: Cinders McLeod & David Woodside

The first is a piece written about rediscovering the guitar & music later in life, but taking it all the way to a first performance. The relief, joy, and nervousness all come together for an unforgettable 'first time'. The second illustration concerned a father's insistence about unplugging the entire household when a storm hit, for fear of 'never knowing what could happen.' The final (3rd) illustration concerned a new ruling at Harvard University disallowing any sexual relations with undergraduates by professors.
