Undocumented Works & War Candidates

The Progressive

AD: Nick Jehlen

The United States has been waging a war against undocumented workers, but as seems to be the current manner, doing so now with little interest in preserving the humanity nor legal obligations outlined in the constitution. Instead, essentially blackmailing 1000's of poor working people into either taking prison time, charged with exaggerated crimes or deporting them back to countries whose human rights abuses assure them great risk, or both. // The 2nd illustration concerns both presidential candidates inability to admit that war should be the last option, instead opening up to the usual rhetoric of threats, nuclear allusions and jingoist posing.
